**Commute** – Carefully evaluate commute times to your office or business hub based on Dubai’s traffic. Being along the metro line can make a big difference. Proximity to airports is also key for frequent travellers.

**Amenities** – Dubai apartments offer amazing facilities like gyms, pools, lounges etc. Make a list of what’s most important for you – parking, retail, parks etc. Shortlist communities that match your must-haves.

**Future plans** – Think about your long-term goals as well before committing to a purchase – do you see yourself living in Dubai for a while or moving soon? Buy based on future sellability too.
